1.Contract
The contract is between the owners of Beulah and the Client. The Contract will be entered into when owners of Beulah issue the confirmation form and will be subject to all the Booking Conditions. The client should check the confirmation form carefully.
2.Payment
A deposit of 25% of the rental fee is payable if the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance shall be payable 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental. Non-payment of the balance of the rent after the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Client. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental the total fee is payable.
2. Cancellation
Any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason shall be in writing and addressed to Emma Stevenson at 36 Church Street, Cambridge CB4 1DT. If the owner is unable to re-let the property then all monies paid by the Client shall be forfeit.
4. Period of Hire
Rentals commence, unless otherwise notified at 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and terminate at 11.00 am on the day of departure.
5. Number of Persons using the Property
The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the maximum number stipulated on this site. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed.
6. Complaints
Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property it must be notified promptly to the owner Emma Stevenson and in case of serious problems confirmed in writing.
8. Breakages or Damage
The client is legally bound to reimburse us for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs. A Good Housekeeping Deposit in the form of a cheque, is payable at the time of payment of the balance of the cost of the holiday and is held until satisfactory inspection of the property, then either shredded or returned to the Client, in accordance with the Client’s wishes. Should there be a problem with replacement or repair of items in the property or extra cleaning required in the property, the cheque will be banked immediately and the Client contacted by the owners by phone or email as soon as possible after the event to discuss the situation and finalize the amount of the costs and refund of the cheque.
9. Care of the Property
The Client shall take all reasonable and property care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. The Good Housekeeping Deposit will be banked to cover the replacement or repair of items in the property or extra cleaning required in the property should this be required. (Note See 8 above)
10. Pets
One well behaved cat or dog is welcome but must be under proper supervision and control at all times. All pet mess must be cleaned up and disposed of and no pets are allowed in the bedroom or to sleep on/in the beds.
11. Liability
The Owner shall not be liable to the Client or third parties for any accident, damage, loss, injury expense or inconvenience, which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the rental. If the property becomes unavailable or unusable for some reason prior to the date of a booking, then the owner’s obligation will be to reimburse the Client for any monies paid.
12. Right of Entry
The owners shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
